Taurasi - Principe Lagonessa DOCG - Aglianico red wine

Taurasi is the most important wine from the Aglianico area. The grapes for the Taurasi 'Principe Lagonessa' from Amarano are harvested late and undergo a long maceration on the skins during the vinification phase, before being aged for 24 months in French oak barrels and tuns. After a further 12 months in bottle, the wine is ready to be enjoyed for the first time. It is a wine with excellent ageing potential, which can be stored for a long time.
A beautiful deep ruby ​​red colour in the glass from which emerge hints of red fruits, ripe cherry and black cherry, with notes of vanilla and pepper and a general spiciness that we also find in the mouth, where the sip is powerful, lively and complex. Due to its great structure, this wine goes well with red meat and game, and with aged cheeses.
