Frisella or barley frisella can be a quick lunch, top the frisella with fresh tomatoes, good oil, a pinch of salt and a pinch of oregano for a delicious, healthy and light meal. Friselle was originally food for poor farmers, shepherds and sailors, who stocked up on it for their long journeys. Handmade with barley flour.
